Warren’s Strategic Investment Committee shares expertise in the US markets, Canada and South America. We have affiliated operations in Toronto, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. Additionally, Warren enjoys strategic relationships with joint venture partners worldwide. These relationships allow our group to be genuinely global and react to the most efficient and positive markets around the world. Technology

Warren’s platform, Trident, was designed specifically to promote transparency of operations and management. We recognize that it is impossible to compete solely with proprietary investment products or ordinary technology applications. That is why we have created a state-of-the-art technology platform that effectively automates much of the sales and client service functions and provides open access to a wide range of investment solutions.

Our technology fully integrates many robust portfolio management tools with the Trident Platform. The high degree of automation enables our advisors to work far more productively and effectively, providing them with extensive control and oversight. Automation also helps to ensure that investment policy guidelines, including asset allocation and manager selection, are enforced consistently and systematically, with virtually no operational burden.

The Trident Platform provides both the infrastructure and methodology needed to prudently delegate investment management responsibilities to third party institutional money management firms and/or use third party manager models in a Unified Managed Account (UMA) or directly through Separate Managed Account (SMA). It also offers extensive customization providing the flexibility to be seamlessly integrated with existing trust accounting systems and custodians.

The Triton Program

The Triton Program is a proprietary management process that clarifies investment objectives and analyzes and addresses a client’s attitude toward risk. We vary our style and recommendations accordingly. Our decision-making tools and sound judgment allow us to optimize portfolios using different variables to enhance overall performance and make specific enhancements for each client.

Sophisticated investors are well aware of the fallacies of creating hypothetical portfolios based on arbitrary time frames and using one-dimensional criterion such as Sharpe ratio, standard deviation and past returns to make decisions. Warren’s Triton program incorporates several essential disciplines including: Correlation Analysis, Portfolio Budgeting, Look-Back Analysis and a dynamic proposal generation system. Triton helps quantify and customize the client’s portfolio to reflect their needs, current reality and future goals. Most important, it allows both parties to evaluate the portfolio’s long-term success.


Research and Guidance

David Horner, former Chief Financial Strategist with Merrill Lynch, is the Economist for our North American operation. In addition to regular conferencing and periodic written materials on market strategy and interpretation, David is available to Warren and its advisors on a daily basis.

Warren taps the resources of its Canadian affiliates for research and for economic and market strategy. The Investment Committee for both Cornerstone Capital and Stuart Investment Management, our Canadian affiliates, consists of James Kiernan, Michael Hyman, Patrick Farrell and David Horner. The members of the committee collectively possess over 125 years of investment experience and business and market analysis. They generally meet on a weekly basis to discuss global macro trends, economic adjustments, equity and fixed income market changes and asset class allocation strategies.

Through our affiliates at State Capital, we enjoy real research coming from South America. State has an excellent reputation in Brazil, Argentina and Chile as a leading organization active in Investment Banking, M&A, Private Equity and Wealth Management. Their industry leading team employs an exhaustive due diligence and research analysis on exciting established and/or emerging companies in South America and other parts of the world.
